Dawah Training Course Description
Mini-dawah training course
Course Work
The course includes practices, speech making practice, and mock sessions. Most of the course is handled in an interactive format, minimizing lectures. The course covers fifteen topics which are unequal in length. The session titles include topics on:
fundamentals of Islam,
dawah,
presentation of dawah,
speech making,
qualities of a good da’ee,
do’s and don’ts of dawah,
the advice of the Prophet (pbuh) and from the Qur’an,
dealing with people, and
presenting Islamic beliefs and practices.
Course Schedule
The course is to be conducted at a date and time mutually agreed upon. This is a mini-course, so the sessions can be conducted anytime between 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., with appropriate breaks for salah, meals, refreshments and facilities breaks. This schedule insures remembering the presented materials – for it adds the key of continuity. The schedule can be altered or adjusted to fit the needs and demands of the community being served. Additional days and times can and will be added to ensure complete distribution and conveyance of all materials
Fee schedule
COQII suggests a reasonable fee and some pay according to the attendee’s ability to pay. This arrangement assures better attendance and it motivates all to learn. Considering all factors, a reasonable fee schedule has been established. But this fee and all other details are negotiable with the sponsoring organization.
Sponsorship
Much prior work, arrangements and notifications must be done, so Islamic organizations, centers and masjids are requested to sponsor the program. There is a need to take responsibility of organizing, getting publicity and recruitment of volunteers. COQII will provide trainers and teaching materials.
